Early Life

Phyno was born on 9th of October 1986 in Enugu state, Nigeria, but his hailed from Anambra state. He had his primary and secondary school education in enugu, after completing his second school education he proceeded to The Institute of Management and Technology in Enugu State , where he had degree in Public Administration.

Music Career

Phyno developed an interest in music when he was in Secondary, were in he got his stage name from Phenomenal to Phyno . Initially Phyno did not, start his music career as a singer, he started as song producer.

In 2010, he left his hometown to Lagos pursue his career as a rapper, using his stage name phyno. In 2012 he began to record his studio album “No Gut NO Glory” . On the 25th of November he dropped the lead single album,Ghost Mode which was assisted by Olamide , the song was a hit as it won two awards that year, which was the best Collaboration at both Hedies Award , 2012 and Nigeria Entertainment Awards , 2013 .

In November 2015, he started a festival called phynofest, Phyno has collaborated with top artist like Olamide, Lil kesh , Davido , Don Jazzy , Runtown and many others .
