Linnell Nobori is the wife of Ted Bessell. Ted Linnell is an American television actor and director. In the television series That Girl, he played Donald Hollinger, the boyfriend and eventual fiancé of Marlo Thomas’ character.

Linnell Nobori and Ted Nobori married in 1982. Ted died on October 6, 1996, and the two lovebirds spent their time together until his death. He died as a result of an aortic aneurysm. He was 61. He was laid to rest in the Woodlawn Memorial Cemetery in Santa Monica, California. Linnell and her husband had been married for 14 years. Their 14-year marriage produced two children, Sarah Bessell and Mary Bessell.

Much is unknown about Linnell Nobori’s life and career. Her life has been very private for her.

Her husband, on the other hand, grew up in Manhasset, Long Island’s Nassau County. He was initially training to be a classical musician. He gave a piano recital at Carnegie Hall as a 12-year-old child prodigy. In high school, Bessell played lacrosse with future NFL star and actor Jim Brown.

Linnell Nobori’s husband, Bessell, decided to pursue acting after attending Georgetown University and the University of Colorado. He studied with Sanford Meisner at the Neighborhood Playhouse, dance and dramatic movement with Martha Graham and Louis Horst, professional acting class with Meisner, and another professional acting group with Wynn Handman.

Donald Hollinger, Marlo Thomas’s boyfriend and fiancé on the hit series That Girl, which aired for five seasons from 1966 to 1971, was Linnell Nobori’s husband’s best-known TV role.

When That Girl ended, he tried his hand at another sitcom, Me and the Chimp, in which he played Mike Reynolds, a dentist who is persuaded to take in a runaway chimp by his children.
