Early Life
D’banj was born in Zaria, Nigeria on June 9th, 1980 to a Military Father, Daniel Duro Oyebanjo and a Prominent Business woman by name Faith Olubukolola Oyebanjo from Shagamu, Ogun State of Nigeria. He was born to a family of 5 Children, Shola, Femi and twins siblings; Kehinde and Taiwo.
After He graduated from Secondary School, Kokomaster proceeded to further his higher Education at Lagos State University, were in D banj withdraw to focus on his passion for music production.
Music Career
D banj kick-started his Musical career in London when he met Don Jazzy as his Music Producer in 2001.

Later in 2015, D banj and Don Jazzy returned to Nigeria where they produced a hit track titled, Tongolo into his first studio Album called No Long Thing. were in the music video was sponsored by Faith Olubukolola Oyebanjo ( D banj’s mother).
His music genre is a combination of Afrobeat and Afro-pop.
In 2006, he was able launched another hit leading track, “Why Me” to his second studio album, Rundown Funk U Up. During this period he was an Artist to Mo’Hits Records.
On the month of December 2007, a collective’s trending album was launched which contained hit tracks like Booty Call, Be Close To You and Move Your Body. The Album gain the appearance of popular musicians like D’Prince, SID, KaySwitch and Wande Coal.
In July 2008, D banj released his third studio album titled, The Entertainer. He was also featured by Ikechukwu on the hit single, “Wind Am Well”.
His third studio album, “The Entertainer” was a hit album with tracks like Kimon, Gbono Feli Feli, Olorun Maje and Entertainer.
He got a contract deal to G.O.O.D Music Record Label in the month of June 2011 were he signed the contract. Being on the record label, he has produced interesting album like “King Don Come”, which featured musician like Harrysong, Busiswa, Gucci Mane, Bucie and Wonde Coal.
