Fausat Balogun popularly known as Madam Saje who was born on February 13, 1959(63Years) is a Nigerian Actress and Producer who majorly stars and features in Yoruba. She rose to prominence when she debuted in a television Series Erin Kee kee(1999), it was in this Television series that she got the name, Madam Saje. She is popularly known for her role in Amin( 2020) and Oba bi Olorun(2021).
■ Early Life& Career
Born on February 13, 1959, in Lagos state, she hailed from Oke Ode a suburb of Ifelodun Local government area of Kwara State. She only attended only primary school, as she focus her effort on acting.
When she finished her primary school, she started her acting career with stage acting, she first trained in her acting career under the trade ” Ijamodi” which is under the leadership of Late Machado, and she later train under the actor and producer, Rafiu Balogun who leads the Balogun Theater Group. The two got married in 1979.
Her first movie, AFonja a Television movie that was under the Nigerian Television Authority. In 1979, Madam saje rose to prominence when she featured in Abeni Ajagun which was produced by her Husband, Rafiu Balogun, the movie was a hit and receive positive Public reviews.
In 1990s, she starred in a comedy television movie Erin kee kee in which she debuted as madam saje , that is where she got the name from and she has been asccusotimated with the name, the name was given to her in that movie by the late Yoruba comedian actor , Babatunde Omidina popularly known as Baba Suwe .she has starred and debuted in over 90 movies . Madam saje have also collaborated and work with top Nigeria Actor and Actress like Odunlade Adekola, Iyabo Ojo,Ronke Oshodi Oke, Funke Akindele, Eniola Badmus and lot of other prominent Nigeria Actress and Actor .
