Majid Michel( born on September 22, 1980) Is a Ghanaian Actor, Television personality, Model, Evangelist, and Humanitarian. Popularly known for his role as Tom in knocking on Heaven Door (2004), Nnamdi in The Department(2015), and Inspector Dave innSlow country ( 2017).
Early life
Born on September 22, 1980, in Cantonments, Accra to a Lebanese father Michael Michel Erawoc, and a Ghanaian mother, Paulina Olympio, he was the last born of his parents, having ten siblings, Six boys namely Isaac, Sputnik, Reggie, Michael Junior, Aro and Shawki and Four girls namely Isabella, Roberta, Juliete, and Georgette, though Michel mother only give birth to two children to his father, Michel consider them all as siblings, sadly he lost his father in 1992 from a heart problem.
Michel attended St theresa school, Accra Ghana for his primary school education and Mfantipims secondary school, Accra , Ghana for his secondary school education, he later proceeded to University of Ghana where he bagged degree in Theatre Art.

Born as a talented actor, Majid has a passion for acting, during his University days he engaged in a Drama group, and majid began his professional acting career when he auditioned for a modeling agency, Super Model Agency, he was introduced to this agency by his neighbor.
Majid starred in his first movie ” Things we do for love” Things we do for love is a 2013 Ghanaian Romance Tv series that spans till 2016, Majid acted as Shaker thus acquiring his name shaker on the set, majid played the role of a Lebanese boy who could make a lady melt, his attempt to use those charm on Enyonam( Jack Appiah) won’t work either as she is in love with a calm guy in the neighborhood, Things we do for love was a success propelling his professional career into light
In 2004, he debuted in his first movie “Divine Love” in which he acted as the main lead actor, Jackie Appiah as the main lead actress, and Van Vicker as a supporting actor, this movie was a hit as this was watched through the Ghanian household, this also propels the career of Majid, Van Vicker and Jackie Appiah into the light
Majid featured in Agony of Christ( 2008) alongside Nadia Busari, Prince David Osei, Yvonne Okoro Eddie Nartey, and a lot more, this movie was a blockbuster receiving Nine Nominations for the Africa Movie Academy Award which includes Majid Michel nominated for

In 2009, he debuted in Silent Scandal, a Nigerian Nollywood Movie, with other prominent Nigeria Actors and Actresses like Genevieve Nnaji, Peachman Akputa, Oladimeji Alimi, and a lot of others, this movie was a hit, receiving positive reviews, and this brought Majid into Prominence In the Nigerian Movie Industry.
also in 2009, Michel debuted in Guilty pleasure, a Nigerian Nollywood movie collimating with other top Nigerian Actors and Actress like Desmond Eliot, Ramsey Nouah, and a lot more, in 2010 alongside Genevieve Nnaji he featured in Bursting Out also a Nigerian Movie.
Majid revealed in an interview when he met Genevieve Nnaji for the first time, he said
the world stood still, I didn’t exist anymore, The Wotld is on pause nothing else was moving apart from me, I guess watching everything, I offered to carry her bag, she said she had a PA, I told her I will love to be her P.A
Speaking in another interview, the actor revealed that when she kissed Genevieve Nnaji in the movie that nothing is going through his mind as this was not the first that he was kissing in the movie. In 2017 Majid revealed that he takes $15,000 per movie not cedis, he stressed further that the highest amount he has taken for the movie is $35,000. The actor has starred in over 69 movies and Tv series.

On 2005, he tied knot with his love of his life Virna, it is reportedly said they have been dating even before majid begin his acting career, Virna Michel is a Selina Bob Model and a maternity Clothes designer. The Couple is blessed with Four children, all girls the name of the first two older one are Keira and Sara respectively, the name of the two others are unknown as he keep this from social media. In August 2015, the couple went down the aisle for the second time as they renew their vow as husband and wife and celebration of Their marriage of a decade.
On Friday October 10, 2014 the Actor lost his mother, after she suffered heart attack before she passed on.
