Harry Morgan first appeared on stage with his given name. In 1931, he joined the Harold Clurman, Cheryl Crawford, and Lee Strasberg-founded Group Theatre in New York City. He made his feature debut as “Henry Morgan” in the 1942 film To the Shores of Tripoli.
