Jerry Amilo was born on the 21st of July
1970 is a Nigerian Actor, Film producer and Director . He is famously known for his role in Bruno and the Law, debuting as Anini, a notorious thief who terrorists are in the 90s, he is also known for his role in Eye Of the Eagle(2013), Dubara(2021) and lockdown(2021).
■ Early Life& Education
Born on 21st, July 1970 In Anambra State, Nigeria, he spent most of his childhood in Anambra in his neighbourhood, it was there that he attended both his primary and Secondary school education, and after obtaining his secondary school certificate, he proceeded to the University of Nsukka, Enugu state where he obtained a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
■ Acting Career
Having an ambition in acting, when he graduated from University, he did not let this die down, after he graduated he joined the Nigerian Nollywood industry in 1993, starting his acting career, he appeared in numerous, he did not get known until when he starred in Bruno and Law, where he acted the role of Anini, a Nuturious criminal and robber who terrorise the people of Edo state in the 90s, after featuring in the movie he gained prominence and became well known, he was acting in the movie until 1998 when he was involved in Ghastly motor accident with his friend.

In 1998, when on a road trip with his lawyer he was involved in a Ghastly motor accident that claimed the life of his lawyer, according to sources, the accident occurred when he was on the way from Enugu to Lagos for the Reel Award, on the way going the vehicle lost it its front tire, already in Highway, it lost control and the vehicle somersaulted leaving Jerry and His friend died on the spot.
Already pronounced dead, they were taken to the Morgue awaiting the day they will be buried, Jerry’s body spent three days in Morque, the Morque lacked electricity which Makes Jerry’s body Not be frozen, miraculously and surprisingly after three days, the Actor came back to life, which makes everyone afraid, sending fears into everybody, making everybody fled the place.
It took the courage of some youth corps member who checked on him and confirmed that he was not dead and he was eventually alive, after waking he spent two years more in the hospital recovering his health, and his lawyer died from the incident.
After recovering from his accident, he returns to Nollywood in the 2000s, in 2001 he featured in Despeardoses I&II acting alongside Sam Dede, Hanks Anuku & Eucharia Anunobi Ekwu, Patience Ozokwor & Chidi Mokeme, he also feature in Love boat and wanted alive in that same year.

□ Returning to Nollywood
In 2003, he made an appearance in Bad boys alongside Stella Damascus & Emma Ehumadu, in 2004 he made an appearance in a series of movies including Discord I&II, and he also started in a couple of movies in 2005 including Across the Bridge, a movie series that span into three part, the begotten and Trinity.
In 2013, he starred in Ojuju Calabar, acting alongside Yul Edochie, Nosa Rex, Nelo Aduana, Ofili Ugbo, and Grace Charles Bassey, In 2015 he starred in Lockdown and Dubara.
