He rose to notoriety as the producer of the famous song For My Lover. He’s also famous for the song “Sugarcane”, which went popular on different social media sites. Early Life
Raphael Camidoh Kofi Attachie, famously known by his stage as Camidoh, is a Ghanaian Afropop/R&B singer, songwriter, rapper, and record producer. The gifted musician was born on the 21st of January, 1994. He was born in Aflao, Ghana’s Volta Region, and raised in Ho, the Volta Region’s capital, by a single mother named Christiana Dzifa Fudjoe, an economics teacher in Ola Senior High School. And later moved to Accra (capital of Ghana) to chase his musical ambitions.

Education
Camidoh attended Nileem preparatory school complex from 1999 – 2004 for his elementary education, then moved to Rijnbeek catholic school complex from 2005 – 2008 where he had his junior high education. He furthered to Bishop Herman College from 2008 – 2012 for senior high education where he read general arts and topped it up with a Bachelor of Science in marketing between 2013 – 2017 at the University of Professional Studies.

Career
Camidoh’s interest for music grew when he was about to start junior high school when he was 12 years old. He first started listening and learning songs of Akon because his ‘lonely’ track had really gotten to him. He found an equally brilliant person with whom he got along swimmingly in high school, and the two decided to form a band named Belce.

The music duo got signed to Myco Music on December 2008 to April 2016, before moving to 3fs Productions in April 2016 until December 24, 2017 terminating their contract with Belce , when Belce opted to go solo. In 2018, Camidoh was signed to ‘GRIND DON’T STOP RECORDS’. In that same year, Camidoh released his first single titled For My Lover which featured Darkovibes. He subsequently released The Best which featured Kelvyn Boy and Available featuring Eugy.

He also got a distribution deal with ‘Crux Global’ and ‘MOVES Recordings’, which is a home to Naira Marley, Rai-Elle, IQ, and Skengdo & AM. Camidoh is super enthusiastic about anything musical and as a result of the passion, He learned production someway somehow along the line. He’s generally known for his Afropop/R&B style, and because he’s an emotional person, he naturally gravitates toward love stories while on stage. He released six–track EP titled Contingency Plan In 2020, in 2020. He released a single featuring Kwesi Arthur(BET award nominee) titled Dance With You in 2021.

In March 2021, Camidoh performed at the Entertainment Achievement Awards organized by Citi TV. His extended play (EP), Contingency Plan (C.P.) was nominated for the Album of the Year. After his performance, he earned an admiration from IMANI Chief Executive Officer, Franklin Cudjoe who dashed him $500. He released his single “Sugarcane” in December 2021. The song began to trend more after the Ghanaian TikTok video creators community used the song in their videos, serving as a way of promoting the song online. The song was number 5 on Shazam’s top 200 most searched Afropop songs. On 8th of April, 2023, he released a remix of the song “Sugercane” featuring King Promise, Nigerian artiste Mayorkun and British rapper Darkoo. In the first week of May, barely a month after its release, the collaboration peaked at Number 1 on Nigeria’s Top 100 Music Chart on Apple Music. He rose to prominence in between 2021 and 2023.
