Balaji Amusan(born on 15, October 1966) popularly known as Mr. Latin is a popular Nigerian- Nollywood Actor, Filmmaker, and Director. He is also the founder and director of Mr. Latin TV and Mr. Latin Foundation. Mr. Latin is known for his Comic and funny personality portrayed in movies.

Born on 15, October 1966 in Gbongan, the headquarters of Aiyedaade Local Government Area, Osun state, Nigeria. He attended Gbongan Community, High school, Osun state for his primary school education but he could not complete his education due to lack of funds, he decided to learn a trade until he found his way in his acting career. In 2016, the actor returned to school where he studied Business and Conflict studies at the National Open University of Nigeria(NOUN).
Bolaji amusing started his acting career in 1988, he started first as an Actor before he become a comedian in 1991. In 1992 when acting in a movie,50-50 Which was produced by Akin Ogunbe, he spoke french while acting in the movie, but Akin Ogunbe mistook it for Latin, hence earning the name, Mr. Latin
Bolaji Amusan is the CEO of Mr. Latin TV, a movie label that trains upcoming actors and actresses,Odunlade Adekolawas a member of the movie label where he started his acting career, enjoined together, he is also the CEO of Latin Foundation.
In 2018, he was made the president of the Theatre Arts and Movie practitioner Association of Nigeria, he has been the president since then. Bolaji Amusan has produced over forty movies, mostly comedian, debuting in most of them, he is popularly known for his excellent directing role in Ile itura
